I was very nervous and frankly a bit anxious waiting in reception for my appointment with Dr Chakravorty. Two days earlier I had visited my GP because I was experiencing pain and discomfort in my breast and under arm and I was very worried. Dr Chakravorty met me with warmth and smiles and put me at ease. He explained that following his initial examination I would have a mammogram and ultrasound. Within an hour Dr Chakravorty was advising me of my results. To have the means for such a quick diagnosis, whatever the outcome, is a big part in the healing process. I have shared Dr Chakravorty's One-Stop Consultation Clinic with my Girl Friends. Immediate help is out there.

Mr Chakravorty saw me at very short notice regarding some worrying symptoms. He was extremely approachable and sympathetic. He was clearly an extremely experienced consultant who arranged all the tests I needed on the same day, and he was thankfully able to provide all the reassurance I had hoped for. He was very good indeed and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

I have known Mr Chakravorty since July 2015 when I was referred to the rapid diagnostic clinic at Essex County Hospital in Colchester. He immediately put me at ease and his calm, friendly and professional manner was of constant reassurance during the months that followed when I underwent three lots of surgery within a very short time. Being given a breast cancer diagnosis is extremely traumatic but the care I received from Mr Chakravorty and his team during that time and since has exceeded all expectations. Attending clinics, receiving results and the inevitable fear of the outcome cannot be underestimated but these events have always been made as normal and even enjoyable as possible due to his extraordinary ability to make his patients feel reassured and personally important to him. He completely understands how a woman's dignity and confidence can be shattered by breast cancer and is extremely careful to make sure that his work will give the best cosmetic outcome, post-surgery. I cannot recommend Mr Chakravorty more highly and feel personally indebted to him for the care he has given not just to me, but to my family.

My whole experience with Mr Chakravorty has been amazing. I have been waiting for my reconstruction since 2016 after a mastectomy on my right breast. An expendable implant was temporally placed while undergoing Chemo & radio therapy. During Radio Therapy my temporal implant reacted to the therapy causing the implant to expand even more making my body out of shape and also suffering back pain due to the constant lifting my thick bra straps trying to even up both of my breast, it was so uncomfortable that at night could only sleep on my back due to the heaviness. Two years later I was still waiting for my name to be called from the waiting list so in January 2019 I found out that my appointed plastic surgeon retired from the NHS and that no booking was made for my operation. I then contacted the Hillingdon Hospital Breast care unit as I was not happy with the whole situation however within days Mr Chakravorty arranged a meeting for us to discuss the surgery and within 2 weeks I was in for my op. I am still under his care at the moment but I just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU, to you Nadine, Terry Anne & Wendy for the excellent work that you do, for all the time & the understanding that you give me, you are amazing and you do an amazing job :). Thank you <3 Maria Cristina De Zorzi
